It pays to know your neighbors, as Garrin Royer and Danny McGinley can attest. They met more than ten years ago when the Royer family moved in next door to the McGinleys. Their over-the-fence friendship took them to the Deschutes River, where they spent many hours fly fishing for Redsides. While there, they had long discussions about business that revealed many common interests and philosophies.
In founding Redside Development, Danny and Garrin’s main goal was to craft an enterprise that would make the most of their respective strengths: Danny's knack for finding promising new projects and Garrin's talent for bringing those projects to fruition. But they also shared a passion for the idea of sustainable development. In the years since they started the company, sustainability has become one of their core values and a key differentiator for Redside Development.
Before joining forces with Garrin, Danny’s career began with a local commercial real estate firm specializing in property management and brokerage. He holds a degree from Portland State University and lives in Lake Oswego with his wife Michelle and their two children, Jackson and Lily. Garrin started out in the technology industry after graduating from University of the Pacific. He makes his home in West Linn with his wife Cortney and children Bella, Olivia, and Callahan.
